Join us to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chef of the Year competition at the White Hall in Helsinki on 25 October 2025!The Chef of the Year and Waiter of the Year competitions are among the most prestigious professional competitions in the restaurant industry in Finland. For years, they have developed the Finnish food culture and created stepping stones for many professionals. Our founder and creative director Pekka Terävä was the first Chef of the Year
in 1995 and Lari Helenius of Olo Creative Catering in 2020. The White Hall will host almost all the chefs and waiters of the year over the past 30 years, including the 2025 winners, who will be chosen on 24 October. The 2025 Chef of the Year final will feature three Olo Collection chefs.The doors to the White Hall will open at 17.45 on the evening of the celebration. The first course of the evening will be a sparkling wine glass in the lounge, followed by a six-course Foodstation dinner in the lounge. The evening will not only include good food and company, but also interviews, music, awards and speeches from the Chefs and Waiters of the Year. The evening will be hosted by Anni Ihamäki.The dinner card includes a six-course dinner with drinks, 150 €/person.Food Station menu
