Glug Glug Wine Fair & Dinner

On 22 February 2025, Helsinki's White Hall will host a new wine event, Glug Glug Wine Fair & Dinner, combining a relaxed wine fair with a high quality dinner.
"Glug Glug wine is a term used to describe a wine that is approachable, enjoyable and highly drinkable. The aim of the event is that everyone can enjoy quality wines without the fuss," says Ville Tikkanen, entrepreneur of Valkoisen Sali.
Around 100 wines will be available to taste at the fair, starting at €3. Entrance is free of charge. DJs will set the mood as importers present their selections in a relaxed atmosphere. The event is suitable for both experienced wine enthusiasts and newcomers. Soil Wines, Beverage Partners Finland, Inta Imports, Norex Selected Brands and Interbrands Wine and Spirits are among the most important wine importers in Finland. A diverse range of wines offers something to taste for lovers of both classics and more unusual discoveries.
At dinner, the wine sets the pace: importers have chosen their favourites from their selection. Chef of the Year 2020 and Olo Creative Catering's Head Chef Lari Helenius has built a six-course menu around them. "It's all about wine - the dishes are designed to bring out the best of the wine and create the perfect balance between the flavours," says Helenius. Dinner and wine costs €129 per person. Seating is limited, so book early.
